Raised in a volcano crater in New Zealand, I’m an award winning filmmaker, photographer and actor.
In early 2023 I completed an MA in Directing Fiction at The National Film & Television School. I’ve also been lucky enough to receive development and funding support from The New Zealand Film Commission and my films have been selected in competition at prestigious Oscar, Bafta & EFA qualifying international film festivals. I love cinema that explores what it is to be human, what it is to struggle with ourselves and each other, what it is to connect deeply - sometimes changing everything.
As an actor, I have worked for over two decades in everything from international touring theatre to American crime drama to blockbuster films. This has also led me into working as an acting coach, supporting actors on set and in rehearsal to bring out truly authentic performances.
I started out using an Olympus OM SLR in my teens and my photography now spans architectural, events, portraiture and environment work.
