ACTING/AUDITION COACHING
I work one to one with adult and young actors, helping them to cut through in their screen auditions and find truth in their performance. I love working with them to find connection with their character at a fundamental level, unlocking true ownership of the material.
I also work as a production and rehearsal acting coach, most recently collaborating with acting coach Miranda Harcourt on Daisy May Cooper & Selin Hizli’s comedy thriller Am I Being Unreasonable? - for which cast member Lenny Rush received a BAFTA and both he and Daisy received Royal Television Society Programme Awards for acting. Huge congratulations to them!
My background is as an actor myself. I’ve worked on everything from international touring theatre and indie features to American cable shows and Hollywood blockbusters. On top of this I offer a director’s perspective as an active filmmaker, recently graduated with an MA in Directing Fiction from The National Film & Television School.
